We cleaned these toys out of my kids' rooms nearly 3 years ago. I had intended on selling them at a garage sale. Instead, the sale never happened and they got packed and moved to our new house. Was it really worth the effort?
This is a very cute figurine that we received as a wedding gift. We proudly displayed it when we were first married. Since we have moved into our new house almost 3 years ago, it hasn't seen the light of day. Frankly, I just didn't need something else to dust. It's very cute, but time to move onto the next newlywed's house.
I think I originally received this as a gift and it had candy in it. The candy is long since gone and although I initially thought it was cute enough to use as a decoration, it's sat in a box for over 5 years. Another "just in case" item?
My youngest child is now four. I'm quite sure that she couldn't even get her legs into this float. I bought this for my third child who is now 9. I'm fairly sure she can't fit into it either.
Ugly, metallic, fruit-looking switch plate cover. The previous owner of our house left this for us. How. thoughtful. After my husband switched the light switches which were installed backwards, we replaced this light switch cover with a matte nickel cover that we like SO much better. seriously.
I used to decorate my kitchen with cows. (Please don't ask me why, I seriously don't know) Cow print towels, cow stove burner covers, cow oven mitts, cow magnets on my fridge, and a cow creamer. Now I just have to find that cow sugar bowl to get rid of as well.
I'm not sure why this bear made it into a Happy Meal (perhaps it is supposed to be one of the bears from the Disneyland show?), but it's been in a box in our garage way too long.
We have this futon frame that used to be my husband's bed when he was in college. The mattress has long since made its way to the dump. The frame, has taken up residence in our garage for way too long.
This was a really nice vacuum, or so the salesman said when he sold it to me. I was pregnant at the time and could barely manage to drag it upstairs to vacuum because it is so heavy. I've always thought it was a pain to change from floor vacuum to the hose. A few years ago, my husband bought me a REALLY nice vacuum (at my request) for Christmas. I love my new vacuum so much, and it's so much lighter, that I will be parting with this vacuum.
My husband bought this bottle of blood for his halloween costume. After he was done applying it to his clothes, I asked him to move it away from the edge of the counter. He went to pick it up and it slipped from his hand and fell to the floor, throwing fake blood all over the bathroom. (some of it ended up on the wall where our white cat brushed against it, getting blood down her side.) The lid broke in the process. I've had a fear since that day that fake blood would end up all over our bathroom and possibly all over the house. Not sure why I waited this long to throw it out.
