This is a very cute figurine that we received as a wedding gift. We proudly displayed it when we were first married. Since we have moved into our new house almost 3 years ago, it hasn't seen the light of day. Frankly, I just didn't need something else to dust. It's very cute, but time to move onto the next newlywed's house.

This was a really nice vacuum, or so the salesman said when he sold it to me. I was pregnant at the time and could barely manage to drag it upstairs to vacuum because it is so heavy. I've always thought it was a pain to change from floor vacuum to the hose. A few years ago, my husband bought me a REALLY nice vacuum (at my request) for Christmas. I love my new vacuum so much, and it's so much lighter, that I will be parting with this vacuum.

My husband bought this bottle of blood for his halloween costume. After he was done applying it to his clothes, I asked him to move it away from the edge of the counter. He went to pick it up and it slipped from his hand and fell to the floor, throwing fake blood all over the bathroom. (some of it ended up on the wall where our white cat brushed against it, getting blood down her side.) The lid broke in the process. I've had a fear since that day that fake blood would end up all over our bathroom and possibly all over the house. Not sure why I waited this long to throw it out.

I warned them. I warned them when they asked to get it out. I warned them as they were blowing it up. I warned them as they were filling it full of water. I warned them as they were letting the water and the air out. I told them that if they got this pool out, that they would need to put it away properly or I would throw it away.


They didn't.

It sat on the side of the house all winter long. They dumped it on top of a metal rake (spikes up of course). I'm quite sure that after 6 months of sitting in the sun, the rain, the freezing temperatures and even in the snow, that this pool has more holes in it than the evidence for global warming. So I threw it away, as promised.

This greenhouse was awesome when I first bought it two years ago. This past winter the plastic got too brittle and it nearly fell over in the last wind storm we had. Thankfully it didn't as it was full of clay pots.

I had filled these milk jugs with water to put in the freezer to take up space. They say that it's cheaper to run a full freezer than an empty one. The problem came when I had built up my supply of frozen foods enough that I no longer needed these bottle however I didn't throw them away. Why? Maybe someday we would need them again. Maybe someday we would eat so much of the frozen food in the freezer that we would desperately need another 4 old milk bottles already full of water. Perhaps because we don't drink enough milk in a week to replenish our supply of disposable milk jugs. Seriously??!?!?

I am giving this seemingly nice mixer bottle away because I never use it. I used it once in the year that I've had it. I don't use it because it is impossible to close. Seriously, I've only been able to close it once (the one time I actually used it). The other times I've tried, I spent no less than 5 minutes trying to close it until I finally gave up and put the contents in a bowl and mixed it with a whisk.

In a house where my real makeup mysteriously disappears and ends up under my 9 year old's pillow, the last thing we need is a batch of pretend makeup.
